A couple from Dallas are asking the public for help in locating their stolen French Bulldog puppy.

Police have already arrested the two teenagers accused of taking the dog away. However, the dog is still missing.

A couple’s French Bulldog, Roxy, was stolen from their backyard in their Old East Dallas neighborhood last week.

Dallas Police have arrested two young females for theft, but the dog’s owners still have no idea where Roxy is.

Ashley Williams was home last Tuesday. She let Roxy wander around their fenced backyard for a bit. When she got out, Roxy was gone.

Neighbors mobilize to help Williams and her fiancé, Stephen Fucle, find out what happened to the $ 5,000 dog.

Surveillance footage shows what appear to be the two teenage girls pulling Roxy out from under the fence before ending up in a neighbor’s yard. Eventually, the two teenagers grabbed Roxy and left.

The couple shared the footage with police. They say an ISD officer in Dallas identified the students. This led to their arrests, but the dog was not there.

“I mean, she’s my best friend,” Fucle said. “Like, I miss her.”

The couple say they have been in contact with each of the girls’ guardians, and they say the girls say they gave the dog to a friend. The problem is, they didn’t provide the family with a full name or valid contact information. The police are still investigating.

“It’s heartbreaking and it’s infuriating,” Fucle said.

The family are conducting their own investigation, speaking with one of the girl’s neighbors who showed security footage of the girls handing the dog over to someone in a car. They don’t know if it was given away or sold.

“But we have a video from a neighbor showing that in fact this dog was handed over to an individual in a car,” Williams said.

Ultimately, they say it doesn’t matter as long as they get Roxy back.

“It doesn’t make sense,” Williams said. “Please contact us. This is our baby. “

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the couple at (469)324-9272 or [email protected].
