Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputies in Fountain Hills reported the following incidents during the week of Thursday, September 16 through Wednesday, September 22.

* On Thursday, September 16, a resident of the 16000 block of Bainbridge Avenue reported that an unknown male suspect broke into their vehicle and stole several items.

* On Thursday, September 16, MPs intervened in the area near Des Fontaines Avenue and Keith McMahan Drive, where there was a collision with a single vehicle. A vehicle exited the roadway and passed through the landscaping. The driver of the vehicle has left the scene and, as a result of his departure, will face possible criminal charges.

* On Thursday, September 16, in the 12000 block of Saguaro Boulevard, a subject reported that he parked his vehicle in a parking lot and was struck by another vehicle while parked there . The offending party has left the scene without leaving any identifying information and will face possible criminal charges for leaving the scene.

* On Thursday, September 16, MPs received a report from the Fountain Hills Unified School District that several minors damaged school property as part of a social media challenge. Some of the participants have been identified and will be charged. (Additional information in the story on page XXX).

* On Friday, September 17, a resident of the 13000 block of Sunflower Drive reported that one or more unknown people had used their personal information to obtain unemployment benefits.

* On Friday, September 17, a subject at a local establishment in the 11000 block of Saguaro Boulevard. assaulted another customer.

* On Saturday, September 18, Fountain Hills Town Parks staff reported that one or more unknown people had degraded town property in local parks. Subject (s) damaged toilet soap dispensers and dumped garbage in Fountain Lake. This incident is still under investigation.

* On Saturday, September 18, a subject was found in possession of a stolen vehicle near the intersection of Shea and Saguaro boulevards. The subject was arrested and taken to prison.

* On Saturday, September 18, a resident reported being assaulted in a business parking lot on the 16000 block of Parkview Avenue. The resident reported that two subjects hit her repeatedly. The resident sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault. One of the subjects was located and arrested.

* On Sunday, September 19, a local establishment in the 12000 block of Saguaro Blvd. reported that minors broke several of the facility’s devices. This is under investigation.

* On Sunday, September 19, one or more subjects broke into a local business in the 10,000 block of Indian Wells Drive and stole materials worth several thousand dollars.

* On Sunday, September 19, a resident of the 15000 block of Westridge Drive reported that one or more unknown people had stolen items from his residence.

* On Monday, September 20, a resident of Block 14000 of Briarwood Drive reported that one or more unknown people had used their personal information to obtain unemployment benefits.

* On Monday, September 20, MPs responded to the 13,000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. for a reported private property collision. A commercial truck driver collided with another motorist while backing up. The driver of the truck said he did not see the vehicle.

* On Monday, September 20, a resident of the 17000 block of San Marcus Drive reported that one or more unknown suspects had used their banking information to make unauthorized charges.

* On Monday, September 20, a resident of Block 15000 of Rock Valley Plaza reported that one or more unknown individuals had used their personal information to attempt to open a credit card account.

* On Tuesday, September 21, a resident of the 14000 block of Sherwood Drive reported that one or more unknown suspects had stolen a package from their residence.

* Tuesday September 21, the deputies responded to the intersection of Palisades and Palomino boulevards where there was a traffic accident. A motorist did not stop for a stop sign and collided with another motorist.

* On Tuesday, September 21, MPs responded at the intersection of Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards where there was a traffic accident. It was reported that a motorist changed lanes and collided with another motorist. The offending driver fled the scene of the collision and, due to his departure, will now face possible criminal charges.

* On Tuesday, September 21, a resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that one or more unknown people had used their personal information to obtain a financial loan.

* On Tuesday, September 21, MPs stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards and discovered the driver was driving his vehicle while it was slightly weakened.
