December 3, 2021

8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. PST

Join Legal Industry Analyst Ari Kaplan, Eric Crawley, Epiq Managing Director for Global Advanced Solutions, Seth Eichenholtz, Director of Electronic Discovery at Mastercard, and Lora Ramsey, Head of Electronic Discovery at Walmart for a discussion on the current state of e-discovery within corporate legal departments and the future of remote options in a post-pandemic environment.

Kaplan will reveal – and the panel will discuss – the findings of the report commissioned by Epiq, based on the perspectives of 30 leading enterprise legal eDiscovery professionals on the challenges, tactics and best practices that are fueling change in this industry. Eighty-seven percent of respondents indicated that they manage some document review processes with the help of their outside counsel. Sixty-three percent also use alternative legal service providers (ALSPs). With the near universal deployment of remote reviewers during the pandemic, only 10% of those surveyed said they saw any inconvenience. For many organizations, the document review process involves a combination of resources and is often determined by cost and risk.

One respondent told us:

“We want the cheapest resource that offers the highest quality work, which is not always the outside law firm. “

If you answer yes to any of these questions, this webinar is for you:

  • How can my company make the most informed decisions about our document review processes given the new widespread acceptance of remote working?

  • Should our litigation and investigation teams work with other legal service providers to perform a remote review? What are the benefits?

  • What do our clients think – professionals in corporate e-discovery, remote review and the role of law firms in the process?
