Toronto police are looking for a man after an assault in Toronto on Friday afternoon.
In a news release, Toronto police said they responded to an assault call in the King Street West and Blue Jays Way area around 2:37 p.m. Friday.
Police said the suspect and another man were involved in a “verbal altercation”, before the suspect approached the victim in his car and punched her “repeatedly” in the face. He then allegedly kicked the car and caused damage.

A passerby tried to intervene “on numerous occasions” to prevent the assault from continuing, police said.
Police said the suspect was between 35 and 45 years old with a slim build, average height and short, dark hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a white mesh back, a black front, and a gray sweater.
He had on gray pants, white shoes, and big white headphones. Police said he also had a dark brown brindle French Bulldog.
